Chandelier Transformations Youth Mentoring is a Non-profit 501(c)(3) Organization founded in 2017 by an Army Veteran dedicated to re-writing the narrative for individuals from low income communities and women of color. Since inception 100% of our mentees have gone on to graduate high school and attend college.
Chandeliers Transformations Youth Mentoring (CTYM) was created to teach young girls from low income communities and brown-skinned girls to embrace their individuality and live boldly and confidently in who they were created to be. We achieve this by transforming their mindsets to remove all limitations and barriers learned through family limitations, gaps in education, community, toxic relationships and social media.
CTYM aims to empower our youth and their families with skills of self advocacy, motivation, leadership, financial literacy, employability skills and so much more to light up the path to their future and every relationship encountered along the way.
Our goal is to foster an environment for our youth to feel comfortable in their skin and empower them to be our future Trailblazers and World Leaders capable of making a more equitable environment for all to thrive. We do this by providing mentorship in Coaching, Speaking, Community Involvement, Performing Arts, Parent Workshops, Civic Engagement and Social Activities with the youth in elementary school, middle school and high school female students in the Tampa Bay Area.
We also offer scholarships to deserving seniors and college students.
We believe all women can embrace who they are,
can define their future and can change the world.
Chandelier Transformations Youth Mentoring (CTYM) envisions to transform the lives of teenage girls through youth-led, multigenerational spaces enriched with healthy dialogue, community-engaged education and civic engagement creating equitable environments in which our future trailblazers and innovators can thrive.
Chandelier Transformations Youth Mentoring (CTYM)'s mission is to bring together school - aged girls in the Tampa Bay Area to create a strong sisterhood that empowers, motivates and uplifts them while teaching them to make a powerful impact in a global economy.
